Hi TPT members,

Very glad to join The Planted Tank forum. first I would like to introduce myself. I am Partha from India, Hyderabad. I am into fish keeping hobby since quite long time but I feel that I am still a newbie. Now into Aquascaping from last 1nhalf year. I have two tanks with me of 2ft and 1.5ft both planted. Here I am trying to share some progress PIC of 2ftr tank.

Size: 2ft*1ft*1ft
Lighting:36n23w CFLs
Dosing: Macros
CO2: DIY
SubstrateIY
Hardscape: River Stones and Drift root
Plants: Long HG, Dwarf HG and Xmass Moss
Fishes: Serpae Tetra, Rosy berb, Neon rainbow

Hardscape Experiments:


Changed the wood:


25-11-11


8-12-11 with algae issue:

Its looks really neat Have you considered making the empty spot abit to the left or right rather than in the middle?

brilliant =) its been a while since i've seen a really good round stone composition like this. Good job. get some ottos for that diatoms algae =)

Glad, that you liked it, three weeks of battling with algae now it almost algae free, will update with algae free PIC soon.

Not as well done as your other scape. I think the little twigs do not compliment the boldness of the stones well but I think over time you may be able to tweak them here and there. The gravel substrate color is very contrasting to the stones and makes it look very busy.
