Moday: 5mL Seachem Flourish Comprehensive

Lights:
3x T5NO (28w each)

The only thing I know about my water is the temp 75F.

Monthy water change after tank was clear and stable.

Here we go.....

Day 1 (08-07-2011)

(10/11/2011)

(10-16-2011) So now I got some Glosso, and wanted to add some potting soil to my tank. Time to rescape!

eKK.. was not being carefull when filling up water....here starts the long journey.

(Day 2 after adding potting soil) (10-17-2011)
I thought it was going to be super clear when I woke up. But this is what I get...... Just a little better though.

(Day 8 after adding potting soil) (10-23-2011)
Today I went out and bought a Fluval 305 canister filter. Because it was on store closing sale. I think it was $75. I also did a 50% water change.

Here is the Glosso after 8 days.

(10-28-2011 Day 13 after adding potting soil) After 50% water change.

So I stopped tanking pictures for about 2 weeks.

(11-17-2011 Day 33 after adding potting soil) Did a rescape and added some driftwood and more plants.

(11-19-2011 Day 35 after adding potting soil) Growth of the Glosso.

(11-21-2011 Day 37 after adding potting soil)

I was busy during the next couple weeks and no Pictures untile...
(12-05-2011 Day 51 after adding potting soil) Added another driftwood because the Riccia lifted off the rock.

Glosso is now growing and spreading like crazy!

(12-17-2011)
Call me crazy but I've added some Crystal Red Shrimp to my community.

So, there we go. I will try my best to update this as time goes by. Thanks for reading.. BTW my CRSs is still safe lol, I have lots of place for them to hide. And my RCS are breeding like crazy (and hopfully my CRS will start soon). I'll try and get a picture of the coloney when 1 of the 2 lights go out (thats when they come out to play) .

Beautiful tank! It looks so much larger than a 55 - I especially like how you have such mass and height in the rocks, but a flat open swimming area in the middle. Can't wait to see more pics!

It's called EarthGrow Topsoil (white bag) from Lowes. I had to screen out the little pieces of wood chips, but it was well worth it. I just rinse it several times and it looks like mud pudding, I didn't bother to mineralize it like others have done.

Here is more pictures of where the shrimps hang out.

This is the back side...

I kinda made sure the back side is crowded so the fishes will have a harder time getting to the shrimps.

I used about 50lb or so pool sand, and aprox. 15lb gravel. I don't know the size of the gravel, due to bought it 3+ years ago.
