I'm pretty sure I saw some of those sea dragons when I visited the aquarium in New Orleans. Perhaps the wierdest morphology of any organism I could imagine.

Wow! I didn't realize there were actually two types of Sea dragons. They have (had?) them at SeaWorld a few months back, but they were missing on my last visit (recently expired annual pass). They were one of my favorites at the Reef exhibit.

Nice shots!
Brian.

My sister lives in 'Nooga. About half the time when we go we visit the Aquarium. When we last went, about 3 weeks back, the otters were actually out playing. That only happens about 1 visit in 10 Waiting on the addition to open now.

Slinte!

Man I was thinkin the same thing Jart... in photo #13 from the top did you see the look of the fish in the center of that tank ? YIKES !

LOL, sorry man I couldnt resist... great photos Craig, good stuff !!
While you were there you should have asked them if they were hiring, a couple of those tanks looked like they could use some "aquascaping"... a little "wolfin'magic" maybe.
That would be a great job eh ?

If my memory is not failing I think I may recall waking up beside her on a Saturday morning about 15 years ago!

Haha I was actually thinking one of those overgrown jungle-like tanks looked a bit like mine did a couple of weeks ago. I've never been more insulted...

Cool pix, thanks for sharing, looks like a great aquarium! I love those tanks that you can "get in" like that. There's one (or, at least there was the last time I was there about 4 years ago) at the Vancouver aquarium like that, but it's a freshwater setup with tadpoles and whatnot.
