jhoetzl's 37g Journal (56k Warning)

Hi all, finally got to taking a few pictures of my setup. This tank has been running since mid January now, and am just about finished dealing with algae outbreaks (knocking on large 2x4)...ferts seems to be in order and I think last strand of algae looks removable upon next water change...

Started out as this:

Current look:

Equipment info:
Marineland Sedona Red Oak Stand
Tank is an All Glass 37 gallon
130w of lighting is a Coralife 30" 2x65w PC "Freshwater Deluxe"
Filtered by an Eheim 2026, heated by a Hydor ETH201
Pressurized CO2 injected to DIY pvc inline reactor controlled by SMS122
KH @4.5 - pH @6.8

Appreciate any input! Thanks!

Looks like a great set up!

You have done some really neat work! I love the plants you've picked and the wood looks great too.

I hope you plan on shooting up the GSP and joining us at the NJAS meeting this week!

Mike

That is indeed a nice piece of wood you got there... I like the plantings and it all looks healthy, love the sword in the front corner for a change instead of hiding it in the back... nice tank !

Thanks for the kind words! Another update is up...

Decided to make a site out of it...

If only my hairgrass or glosso would grow like those stems...

Hehe, all the comments on my wood...DOH!

Anywho, just threw up some pics from my newest tank, a smaller 15g...have a look if you like:
http://www.geocities.com/jhoetzl/tan...nkjournal.html

Need to get some overall pics...but no growth to speak of yet...only been setup for about 2 weeks...whole filter material from my 5, and some bio from the eheim, and cycled, already adding some N, even with 3 dp's in there. I think the lotus and hygro suck nutrients like mad.
