29G Emersed set up

It's not clever and it's not pretty, but it's here anyway. I had an old tank just getting filthy in the garden, I also had lots of soil, some spare twin wall polycarb, two desklamps and no place to grow on cuttings.

Total cost 5, I purchased a cheap pack of 15 crypts, they're the ones looking a bit sorry for themselves i.e most of them. There's also two crypts on the right plucked from my tank which are looking pretty healthy after 4 days emersed. Oh and some hygro, ludwigia, pilea cardieri, anubias nana and possibly some other stems I forget.

It won't win any beauty awards but it's fun, different and I may even be able to sell them on when grown to make some money!

Looks good.

Emersed setups are a lot of fun. I will be following along on this one.

Just because its dirt doesn't make it low tech

Thanks man, I had a small emersed tank a while ago and the one thing I've learnt...NEVER MOVE CRYPTS.
