Levi's 125 gallon fish tank new pics (56k warning

I bought this tank back in sept. and thinking it would be easy to have a planted tank i would just throw everything together and it would be fine. Boy I was sure wrong. Finally after months of battling gw problems my tank has been clear for around a month now. Here are some pics of it. please feel free to comment.

Looks great! I forget how a big tank makes even swords seem small. If you like the grassy background look I could provide some sag subulatta or even the monster jungle val (my tank is not tall enough to showcase them).

It looks like you got some water between the background and the glass (happes to me all the time) which is making the background visible. If you can 'peel it off' and let it dry it will go back to the "normal" color.

Moved to Tucson.

It looks good, i'd put some more plants but it shouldn't be long until they start to fill in the background, midground and foreground.

Can't wait until I get a big tank like that!

Nice start! I think more plants would be good, especially taller ones for the back. I would think you're should have grown a lot bigger in the months you've had them in there (if I understood you correctly).

But the first thing I would do if I were you would be to get rid of that background and just use plain black (some people like dark blue).

Hey the tank looks nice... you have some plants in there that deserve big space to grow , I know it seems that everyone is saying get more but I might let what you have continue on before you get to crazy adding more.
Plants do grow and I like the way you have it set up.
The only thing I would do is move that C. helferi towards the back, it will get taller and taller and block out the midground.

Looks very nice, great plant assortment...

If you ever make it to Seattle shoot me an email first. In collecting plants I have a few that are getting too big (jungle val, red rubin, lilly) that I could trade for. If nothing else you could try them out and compost them if it does not work.

The background is fine as is but where it got wet it is sticking. Just peel the one off and let it hang.
