Try google, it's hard for me to snap shots of my neons schooling they always turn the other way.

I've try using google, and turn up mostly a couple rummy-noses, not an actually school. I would really like to see how they look in a school of 10 or more. I'm considering adding them to my tank.

This is the best I got so far:

I can't even see the red nose there. May be a school of rummy-nose isn't as impressive as I thought.

Thanks.

that picture definitely does them no justice...I only have 12 and most schooling fish don't exhibit true schooling behavior unless there are far more than that... I will try and get a picture of them later tonight, but I can't make any promises as to how well it will come out. The size of my tank is definitely the limiting factor, it's only 4 ft long.

I'll see if I can take a picture or two for you later on tonight.

Rummy nose

I think those are some Rummynose down towards the bottom right. Not sure - but I think so! http://www.aquaristics.com/img/adap28_l.gif

Rummy nose

Sorry - just tried that link and it is NOT what I copied from my browser... Don't know what happened or why!

Go to ADA - Gallery - One. 2nd row from the bottom, middle picture. That's what I linked!

Yup, those are rummy-nose, although not many of them. Still they look much better than the one I found.

I'm looking forward to Ibn and Cannon pictures.

Thanks.

rummy noses are beautiful. I have 7 of them along with 12 neons (plan on adding 12 more soon), and they are awesome. Great color, and they love schooling with the neons. They are in the open almost all the time, and are really active, and fun to watch. They aren't so active that they distract your eyes though.

Get 'em!

After numerous attempts, I could not get a picture of more than 2 of them together. I'm not adept at photography to say the least.

sorry

Cannon,

Thanks for trying...I'm in no rush for the pictures . Keeping myself busy understanding dosing ferts and reading about loaches/botia for snail control.

How many are you interested in the picture? I haven't gotten around to it, but will do so in this coming week.

Ibn,

The more the better.

I'm trying to get a sense of what a school of rummies would look like. I still can't find a LFS that sell rummy nose yet or else I would just go there and see them school in person.

Thanks.

About to leave town, but here's a couple of pictures for you (they're really crappy...I'll take some other ones next week when I have more time).

Side of tank where they love to congregate:

A closer shot of the school:
