Snail on an African Butterfly Fish

Ok at first I freaked out..have had parasite prob's with this ABF initially..thought was something NEW.. but it was a snail.
Can this be a problem though? She Twitched around enough when it got down to her tail..to knock it off.
And by the way..some of the pics make it look like she is being eaten alive by a number of larger snails..but fear not-they were actually on the SIDE of the tank..not on her..

Did you finally get one to survive?

There seems to be a little snail problem in your tank

Not sure if it is "good" for the ABF to be grazed by snails. But doesn't surprise me, they stay at the same spot for quite a while, so snails might think they are something delicious to eat.

My ABF's are also in a snail infested tank, but I haven't noticed them being eaten alive yet. I clean out snails every week and feed them to my loaches.

Yeah

This is the girl that's surpassed 2 males..
Same tank that later, had Camallanus worms..visible in the Krib pair. Successfully treated the tank..but mom krib was too far gone and had to be euthanized.. But left behind a number of fry growing up well.
For this reason, to be on the safe side, never feeding snails to the other tank with loaches in it..
But waiting on some smaller loaches to come into LFS to add to this tank..
Same ABF let an otto "ride" for awhile once..got one bad pic of that, I posted awhile back here..I think.
