Binning it for the summer!

I breed fish outdoors every spring through fall. This year we set things up a little different. Here is the start to the journal. I will be adding emergent plants as well as marginals in planters along the sides of the bins. They are 2 80g and one 45g rubbermaid tubs. I am using 2 285gph pumps to circulate the water. Right now all it has in it, plant wise, is pennywort, water hyacinth, and willow hygro.
I will be using the bins to breed my meteor minnows, calico shubunkins, and endlers as well as apple snails and possibly some shrimp.

Autraloheros Oblungum, feeders, maybe try something new like an uncommon Guorami species or maybe shrimp galore! I will definitely be getting some pond plants though!

So where do you get your Endlers? Every time I come across them they are not pure. I used to have a bunch that were close to pure but still had other features in them... I have been cross breeding them for interesting patters, but now just use the entire lot for feeders.

Which types? The black bars I have I would not call pure, though they exhibit the correct markings. Someone in my club has some that were collected by John Endler, and that is what I started with but I have added new blood over the years from other trusted hobbyists.

The chillis I got from a guy in NYC.

Yeah black bar. there are only a few wild morphs found, and several pure line morphs that can occur when line breeding in captivity.

Have you ever checked out anything from Adrian HD?

Do you have any of the minnows for sale? I can get the normal ones around here, but not the long fin version.
