55 gallon mud tank ( won't be 56k friendly for long)

Tank:55 gallon rimless tank
Light:2- 2x24 watt t5ho lights from odyssea
Filter:Odyssea 500 gph filter
Substrate:Approx 1 inch of mts,capped with black blasting grit

Fauna:
6-Angelfish to start with (hopefully ending up eith one breeding pair
2-My breeding pair of german blue rams
10-albino corydoras?
3- Albino Bristlenosed pleco trio?


Flora:
Various sword plant

(need more plant suggestions)

anyone have plant suggestions? i know i want a jungle,so there will be 3 large swords,(left,middle,right),what else makes a jungle

3 large swords? i dont think you'll have room for much else once they grow up. looking forward to pics!

It's another term for soil substrate
Op mentioned using MTS (minerised top soil) in the tank stats.

One in a 55 will bust it at the seems if you are talking most swords. Look for the smaller varieties. I had an amazon literally out grow my 55. You can see it in my earlier journal pictures. If you are wanting a jungle tank, you can't go wrong with hygros.

Without Algae, death of mankind would be inevitable.

Why swords stay small? Mehh, hygros don't amuse me enough.


On the otherhand I got my mts soaking today! 80lbs total!
