Fishing spot/ Hidden treasure mini 24l/6gallon tank

Hi guy

Got a day to spare to day so I decided to clean up my messy room and discover a brand new tank under my bed (more than 6 months old LOL).

So after clean up a bit, I went out to buy the material to make the stand for the tank. 1 hour to put the stand together, another hour to scape the tank, with some breaking and cutting from my other tank to supply for this tank.

Here is the photo, I don't know what I will plan and raise in here yet, maybe spider? LOL More photos of the tank and the filter will come tomorrow

Here goes the photos of the stand and LED, filter come later

closer

a bit closer, haven't cut the plastic board to make the door yet, so I use the tank backdrop as the door for taking photo haha

LED

LED stand made from PVC pipe

UPDATE: Finally the tank is filled. Going to get some RCS later for this tank

This thing just dropped right in front of me this morning and I LOVE HIM! Maybe he will fit this tank more than guppies or CRS?

Thank you that wood, as it is the log on the front right corner of the tank, not the driftwood ya?

That tank is awesome.

Not a fan of the "log" in the middle of nowhere nor the dirty substrate in front of the plantings, but that is a personal preference. A clean open substrate would make that hardscape and plants pop even more.

Great job though and nice find!

Great tank. I wonder what you can come up with when you have time to think about layouts and plants and fish.

Thank you Gatekeeper. I think you are absolutely right about the dirty substrate in front. I will clean it up this weekend. For the log, I put it there to cover up the plain white substrate at the back, as well, try to create some focus point. I will see what to do with the log. Maybe chop it to smaller bit is better? :P

Hi, I am planing to have some shrimps and 2 or 3 endlers. The tank is quite small eh, even though I love to have some discus there hehe

It is not really quick eh The layout is around 2 weeks, but the tank, the plants and this project are already 6 months old and maybe more haha. I have been toooooo busy, that I totally forgot I hid it under my bed :P

The beetle is from my work place. He just dropped down right in front of me when I walked out of the car. We have a BIG garden @ our office. I think the beetle is Christmas beetle, originally from Australia.
