This is my 40 gallon tall tank planted with angelfish. I have 4x39watts of light over the tank with a distance of maybe 6 inches. 3 of the bulbs are odyssea 6700k and 1 bulb is 10k. I have a 4th 6700 but I like how the whiteness looks.
I have planted Baby Dwarf Tears and some "cardinal" plants...The dwarf tears seem to be reaching up to the light, but I had a pretty serious week long green algae bloom. Since the bloom ive added 1 DIY Co2 injector with plans to add a second soon. I dont have the funds to go for a co2 tank yet.
I have put root tabs into the sand under each patch of dwarf tears and cardinals.
I have also ordered and will be dosing Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium.
Any suggestions are welcome!
