Matt12's 15g Emersed setup

this is my 15g emersed setup ive had running for about 4 weeks now. the reason for this tank.....getting plants to flower and flowering unknown plant species for identification. here are some specs and plant list:

Tank-15g AGA 24''x12''x12''
Water Level- 3''
Temp- 78F
Humidity- 90%-99%; daily misting w/ tap H2O
Lighting- 12hrs/ day; 65w CFL 5000k, 18w Flourecent 6700k
Planting medium- Oil Dry
Ferts- Root tabs (2 per pot), weekly addition of 5ml Flourish
Filtration- AquaClear 10 powerhead w/ sponge

FAUNA:
1 Male Betta

PLANTS:
-Acmella repens
-Aciotis sp., ON THE WAY!!!
-Bacopa lanigera
-Cryptocoryne wendtii 'Green Gecko'
-Cryptocoryne wendtii 'Red'
-Cryptocoryne lutea
-Eleocharis sp Unknown; Tim calls it ''Cavan Grass''
-Gymnocoronis spilanthoides
-Hydrocotyle sibthorpioides
-Hygrophila sp. 'Araguaia'
-Limnophila sp. 'Guinea Broad-Leaf'
-Lindernia grandiflora
-Monosolenium tenerum
-Nelsonia smithii
-Penthorum sedoides
-Riccia fluitans; growing up the glass
-Rotala macrandra 'Mini Type 1'
-Utricularia graminifolia
-Mini Rose Moss
-Unknown Vesicularia sp.
-Local moss

WOW that bacopa is cool!
Nice setup, Matt. Everytime i see emersed tanks it makes me more and more anxious to set mine up.

This may be a stupid question, but what is oil dry? the containers or the substrate, I've never heard of it.

the unknown plant has been id'ed as Nelsonia smithii. thanks Cavan!!!

Yours is pretty fancy. I think I need to get a "correct substrate" rather than just peat moss and root medic caps. I can't wait to have my plants flower. Is there any key to inducing it? Just keep it warm?

Wrarm, extra phosphate, and a lower Kelvin bulb (5000k)

i added lots of plants and repotted some plants to smaller 2'' pots for more room!!! pics to follow!!!

plants added:

-Limnophila rugosa
-Aciotis sp
-Ammannia latifolia
-Bacopa sp. 'Colorata'
-Cryptocoryne cordata var. cordata 'blassii'
-Cuphea anagalloidea
-Eriocaulaceae sp. 'Type 2'
-Hydrocotyle sibthorpioides
-Lindernia sp.'India'
-Ludwigia senegalensis
-Murdannia sp. 'Red'
-Rotala indica
-Sphaerocaryum malaccense
-Hygrophila pinnatafida

The Nelsonia smithii and Penthorum sedoides are the ''weeds'' of the tank. the Bacopa lanigera is doing great as well. thanks!!!
