Explendous growth, really good care and effort is giving to this tank. Smaller tanks are always hard to trhive.

Had to move the aquarium to my house due to COVID-19 restrictions on campus. I'm still getting the hang of trimming and replanting for a Dutch scape.

wow, amazed that it looks this good with just a 10G

I think you have done a great job of adding a foreground, midground, and background plants. it gives the tank much more depth! I think also placing green plants next to red plants and different textures makes the dutch scape look amazing!.

Any way to put the heater a bit lower in the water? it's a bit distracting

still have the cherry barbs? the gourami looks cute in there.

I think the tank looks great!

Yeah, layout options have been tough with such a small tank. I really want the groups to be larger but with this many species in the tank it is impossible. The heater blocks valuable growing area so I have it up higher just for the background plants to be planted as far back as possible. I'll take a photo with all the equipment out for a nicer shot later.

The male and female cherry barbs are still in there! They are super chubby and constantly chasing each other around. I have 2 gourami fish in there, one pearl and one opaline. I might remove one because of the pearl being slightly aggressive. There are also 6 pygmy cories.

would you consider running a canister filter with an inline heater?
It'll definitely buy you some space in there

I like your stock

Something to consider when I get a bigger tank. For now, the equipment is fine. The 100g I used to have was no equipment in the tank. I had 2 bulkheads on the bottom hooked up to an FX5 in a closed loop with 2 Hydor in-line heaters and a Cerge's reactor. I'd probably go with a fancy overflow system like Hendy uses in his for my next setup.
