My Fish Room

I have a 12x15 room in my basement that was a hot tub room for the previous owners. I have two floor drains, one in the middle of the room and one in the corner where there is a shower. I also have a cold water spicket as well that could be used for RO in the future. I have adapted the shower outlet to hook up my python and adjusted the temp on the valve to 75ish degrees.

Very nice. A fish-keepers dream
Can you get some close-ups of your other tanks so I can see the other fish you have?
That would be great!

The yellow polka dot is a Syn. Angelicus that was gifted to me by a fellow hobbyist.
Yoyo loach with the gourami. I have 3 and they are now housed in the planted 55g. I want to move them as they are competion for the pea puffers on the snail population.

Here is how I do water changes.
1. Drain aquarium xx%
2. Adjust temp at valve
3. Hang pvc fill valve on tank and fill

By accident honestly. I have some old gray blue paint that I used to paint a solid background with and it peeled off in almost a complete sheet. I cleaned the glass with alcohol and a glass cleaner mix of vinegar, dawn dish soap and water. Same results. I found the dark blue in the garage and it was the first coat. I let it dry over night and painted a second coat with the original gray blue. It caused the textured effect. It dried like paint with glue mixed in. The final coat was Kilz white primer. I should have left the tank to dry before moving it because I forgot and stuck my hand in the paint on one side.

@sm1ke, here is the look I wanted to copy. This is my 55g planted. I used the same dark blue as the starting color and then layered in a lite blue and white before the colors had a chance to dry. I use a 2in wide brush.
