Adventures in Planting - my collection of tanks

This thread is going to be my historical reference for all tanks not Ranchu Goldfish related. I currently have a 75 gallon community tank, a 5 gallon Betta tank, a 3 gallon cylinder vase, and a vivarium set up in addition to the Ranchu tank. I hope you enjoy following along.

I have plans to increase my collection of small tanks and to dismantle and sell the 75 gallon locally. I will entertain selling the entire setup if someone gives me a good offer. Otherwise, I’ll let it grow out for a while and provide the plants for other setups.

To give an idea of what’s to come, I bought a UNS 60s and a DOOA new glass air 20x20x35. Also got an interesting vase style terrarium that I will use as a planted tank.

For now, here are my current setups all still fairly new. I can post details of each in another post if anyone wants them, just don’t want this post to get too long.

The vase

The 5

The Vivarium

I ditched the top on the 5 and added a 12” finex planted+, but the light is too strong even at 18 inches above substrate. I need a new controllable light. Thought about adding a dimmer, but I like the fluval nano and I think I’ll try it out here.

Well, that’s annoying... I know I followed all the correct steps including making sure I set my album to share.

Okay, maybe now?

The 75 and the viv in my diy stand. The moving company broke a door off and I decided to roll with it.

Here’s a shot of one of my shrimp this morning

And a new project, the wife’s work tank was banned so doing a little rescape with dragon stone. I have no plants for this yet and no idea what I want. Bein so small, probably something mid ground for the raised area. Will do some type of moss to cover the filter floss on the right.
