Iwagumi in 4.5 gallons

Hello there. After a lot of travel, moving to another apartment, I finally have enough time for aquascaping. Unfortunately i have place only for small tank in my new apartment. I chose 4,5 gallon tank with stone hardscape. While i'm waiting for new light I have some time to choose plants. I'm going to plant on lower level Hemianthus callitrichoides and a little higher Eleocharis parvula but i'm not 100% sure. So i'm still thinking about that.

Specs:

Tank: Local brand tank made from optiwhite glass 17l, 4.5 gallons
Filter: Eheim Classic 2211 (Eheim Substrat pro, carbon, zeolite)
Hardscape: Manten stone
CO2: Balloon with dual stage reg and nano co2 diffuser
Substrate: Local analog of ADA Amazonia

Here are some pics from the setup

To be continued.

Welcome to the forum!

That's quite a lovely tank and hardscape you've put together. Looking forward to seeing how it grows and changes once you get it planted.

What kind of livestock do you plan to keep?

Thanks. I guess that would be small livestock like a Danio margaritatus, Otocinclus affinis and red crystal shrimps.

Danio margaritatus will be a great fit.

Your local substrate looks nice - I like that it's not all one uniform size. Do you know if it produces ammonia initially to help cycle the tank? Will it buffer your water parameters?
