I have a question or two for you. Did that one 4 kg bag of stratum cover the bottom of your 10 gallon to that depth? Also, have you had any ammonia leakage from it or did you just put the shrimps in?

Looks like your tank is going to look great when it is filled in!

Yes a 4kg bag cover it to that. I was worried when I got it that I wouldn't but was happy to swear that it did.

Idk about ammonia leakage because I was running the tank a few days and just adding seachem stability but never tested it.

You wont get ammonia leach from the Fluval Stratum (plant or shrimp). There are many threads about it on here. I've been using it personally and love it.

Tank looks awesome. Good collection of shrimps in there. They should be happy. How's the flow with that filter on there?

The flow is kinda good but I'm planning to add a powerhead to get some extra water flow. When I got the thing home I had to punch holes in the spray bar because they didn't. A might add a few more first to see but I think the power head will be my best bet

Hey nice job dude! It's gonna look real nice.
We really need to hook up soon for some trades, I see things I need! How did you get the Rananculus that fast?!?

What kind of powerhead? Be careful with those & shrimp. Sponge pre-filter is the only way I've done it that didn't kill any...

You can't steal it but when you get your co2 you can have clippings and of course you can take pictures. I need some good ones of the 75 too

Okay, I'm not just a little, but I am really like totally jealous now. Brad, I don't think I'll be following this journal so I don't feel completely sad at not owning such fine looking shrimp and snails. And you are killing me with the pictures of the Ludwigia senegalensis! I killed mine in the deficiency experiment. I'm soooo crying over that one.

Without Algae, death of mankind would be inevitable.
