First planted tank

Hey everyone. This is my first journal and my first planted tank. I watched a ton of YouTube videos so I felt like I would be a pro. Wow was I wrong. My tank has been up and running (after cycling) for a month now and I have had really a tough time lol. My plants look good. Well letís start from the beginning.
I did dirt as my substrate and I capped it with black aquarium sand because I like the look. I have a few hygrophilia ( parowita, cordata, and the big one), Ludwigia reopens, dwarf sag, two Madagascar lace, red Rubin sword, an atlandsburg sword and one other sword, and crypt natanz. I feel as tho it is heavily planted but there is a lot of room. It is a 75 gallon tank. I have a current USA pro+ light that I have on for six hours a day at max ( what I think is max, itís on daylight mode) and moonlighting the rest of the time.
I have amano shrimp, bamboo shrimp, ghost wizard snails, denisonii, emperor gudgeon, peacock gudgeon, kuhlii loaches, and White Cloud Mountain minnows. Everything seems to be in balance. When I bought the minnows I think they came with fin rot and I had some deaths and all of the amanos died but Iím treating with an all natural remedy and am hoping that works. The deaths have stopped so thatís a plus. I think it is fin rot because the fins look super nipped and the ends are white.
Anyways, it has been a month to the day. My plants are doing ok. The parowita is browning. Itís somewhat concerning. All of the plants are rooting like crazy. My concern now is when to start fertilizing and when to turn on the co2. If anyone reads this Iíd love to hear your two cents. Have a great day people!
