Stacked 125s build.

I'm working on an addition to our house and got permission to build a couple 125s into the room. My first set of challenges is the setup. I have limited space and want to use every inch as efficiently as possible. So the plan is to cantilever the top one over the bottom tank. So I designed a stand to work. It is made of 2x2 steel tube 1/4 wall. Hired a local metal shop to build it for me. The tanks I have aquired from craigslist. One was Free (yes I got lucky and FREE) The second I paid $20 for. The first one is in great condition, already drilled and plumbed for a sump. The second is a basket case, was used as a critter cage and the cross supports cut out. So the second is going to take some work. A good deep clean and a reseal for good measure. Along with some custom braces for the top. The room is coming along slowly as I'm doing all the work myself. Hoping to get the floor tile in this weekend so I can get the stand back in and get moving on finishes. Want the tile to go under the stand just in case we move things later on.
One tank will be the upgrade for my 75g and the other will be for the cichlids.
Filtration is a little up in the air, but thinking of running and canister on each one along with a small sump. Just don't have the room to run big enough sumps for both, which would be ideal.

This might not even be realistic, but could you run one big sump, and have both tanks on the same one? (Would a 75 g fit on the floor under your stand?

Well, finally making progress on the room. Made some design changes. Started thinking about if we sold the house, what if the buyer didn't want fish tanks. So here is the solution.

That would not work safely. Just going to run canisters. Picked up 2 fx6s back during black Friday. And I have a few more. Working on getting everything Plumbed now. Couple more days then on to the cabinet.
