12 Gallon Long (UNS 90b)

Hi All,

Thought I'd post my new build! 12 gallon long tanks always caught my eye because of their large appearance with a relatively small footprint. Now that my shrimp population in my 5 gallon is reaching triple digits, I pulled the plug on a UNS 90b . Here are some pics!

Any stock recommendations? I have a colony of Cherry Shrimp that I'll be adding, but looking for some nano schooling fish. Leaning towards CPDs, but may try to find some micro rasboras local to orange county.

Some quick info:
Tank: UNS 90b
Light: Chihiros A Series 90cm
Substrate: Sand/ Eco Complete/Mr Aqua soil
Filter: Aqueon AT30 - testing out a submersible filter, hopefully it works out so I don't have to use an external canister.

The tank on top of a small console table I built a while back. I little concerned with the window, but I plan to keep the blinds shut all the time.

Dry-testing the hardscape and added privacy film for the background

Planted and flooded!

Looks good, and l like the idea of using the frosted film for the background.

Thanks! I hope it does grow in - I just picked up some Thrive ferts, hoping that they make a difference.

It was very cheap, $6 on amazon, and really easy to apply. My only gripe is that it doesn't hide wires well as the wires are still visible behind the film.

I like the scape and the tank - they are harder to do well then they look. Hope the internal filter works out but I see a cannister filter in your future.

A dozen C. Pygmaeus and 18 or so Ember Tetras or Rasbora Kubotai would love to call it home.
