Waterbox 10 gallon tank

This is my first journal and second tank. Im hoping to get this up and running for a pea puffer.

Equipment:
Waterbox 10 gallon
Aquatop 118gph pump that came with the tank
Cobalt 100w heater
Finnex 16" Stingray (temporary, being replaced with a Fluval Nano)
InkBird 306t temperature controller

Eco-Complete substrate
Ohko stone hard scape

R/O water
Nilocg Gh booster
Potassium Carbonate

Im hoping to get my plants in a few days, mostly crypts and dwarf sag.
im mixing 6.5 grams of gh booster and 2.3 grams of potassium carbonate per 5 gallons of water. If im using rotala butterfly right that should give me a gh of around 5-6 and a kh of almost 5.

I filled the tank last night, turned on the heater, put a piece of leaf litter and a good squeeze from the sponge filter from my well established shrimp tank and some ammonia then let it sit. This morning i tested gh/kh/ph, gh was spot on between 5 and 6, kh was at around 3, ph was WAY off at 8.4+ im hoping that after the cycle everything evens out.

EDIT: Can't seem to get images to work ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
EDIT 2: I figured it out

Added a crypt lutea, crypt spiralis, and dwarf sag. One pot of the sag was giant, guessing it was grown out of water. also added the new light, and a piece of acrylic over the main oart if the tank, i was losing a lot to evap. Im thinking of adding a crypt wenditti to the back right and maybe a dwarf aquarium lily.

I like the rocks. Nice sense of scale.

Been a few weeks since my last update. Added a crypt wenditti to the backright corner, so far very little melt on any of my crypts, but i have a giant problem with a very strong string like algae. I've added root tabs and im seeing new growth on the dwarf sag, so im excited about that. still no fish, the tanks cycled but i want the plants to fill in a bit more. Also have a massive amount of snails.
