What worked for you to get rid of the pea soup? Did you do the blackout, or something else? Been dealing with that myself--keeps coming back no matter what I do.....
New tank looks great!

New tank looks great!
I used a uv sterilizer filter, ran it 24/7 and 5 day blackout.

Did some changes on plant species, removed the hygrophila corymbosa and replaced it with hygrophila sunset, 4 some reason they aren't gaining any color in ny tank. I suspect it might be a light issue. Pics to follow, oh and the moss needs n major trim, its shadowing the monte carlo.

Its been a while, and sort of rebooted the tank coz co2 ran out just before lockdown started and the tank ran 40days without co2.
Plants took a big knock especially the carpet and a bba army launched an attack on my tank.
Its been 2 weeks now since i filled the co2 and got a extra 6.8kg co2 bottle, so that i dont have to deal with co2 issues again. Long story short, removed all old and dying plant matter and leaves with bba on them. The bba i could not remove got nuked with h2o2.
Since my whole setup is more or less diy i added a grow tube aswell, want to see if it boosts the growth a bit.
Tank is starting to recover nicely. Made a new batch of ferts also.

Plants are doing pretty good.
Its just the TDS thats doing something weird.
Tap TDS: 272
Before waterchange TDS: 401
After 80% waterchange TDS: 370
TDS after dosing macros: 378
Either something is building up massively in my tank or something is leaching. No dead fish in the tank and no dead plant matter.
