Neat setup. Your tank is awesome..I think a red lotus will be great in the center.

Red lotus would stick out like a sore thumb IMO. I would readjust the DW a bit more and get it to poke through more. The one in the middle back pointing to the left does not match the flow of your setup. I think thats where you lost your center. Other than that though, I like the plant choices alot. Simple, elegant and lush.

I there were any plant I would add it would be something with a softer coloration, not bold, perhaps Golden Nesaea.

Very true about the driftwood, i think its not really soaked yet.
Because it sits on a diffirent place every day.
As of today i've got a suction cup attached to it to keep it in place.
It looks a lot better indeed!

@everyone
My stargrass is flowering.

Moved some to a smaller tank to make a timelapse video (much better natural light).

Still needs some editing!

Some smaller twigs sticking up out of the large stand of star grass may help break up the wall of green also. Simple things can sometimes go a very long way.

BTW, presaoking DW is pretty much like waiting for water boil. Miserable thing to wait for. Manzanita is the worst for this. Stuff dries out in hours.

@Gatekeeper
Good ideas! Ill get some small twiggs, and rearrange the wood a bit.

It looked like this before the 'big green wall' took off:

Looks better right?
Maybe ill just have to keep the stargrass a little shorter..

How would this setup do with only 1xt5 instead of 2?

Little update:

Added anubias/wood/rotala green/crypt/helferi
Removed Stargrass on the left.

Finished the right side.
Still working on the center & left.

Not so sure about the red plant (sold to me as Alternanthera cardinalis)
And thinking about removing the wood in the center (sticking out the anub)
It just seems a bit out of place over there.

Tips are deeply appreciated!

I like it! That one twig to the left is a bit out of place, but may look better once the left side grows out more. Hair grass is sweet looking.
