First time 29 gallon Barr method

Soon will be starting a set up low tech Barr method for a 29 gallon community tank. Will be starting with aquatech 29 gallon kit and upgrade equipment as needed or desired later. Looking to have community of corydora, oto, betta sorority and ember tetras to fill in. Will be doing BDBS substrate hopefully in the next couple weeks or so will have pictures up of a planted tank.

I am relatively new to the hobby so any comments and suggestions to try to help are appreciated greatly.
