Iwagumi in a Dennerle Scapers Tank!
Got this little guy for xmas - really love the curved glass.
I had no plans for what to do in it and went to my LFS for some soil and thats when I discovered they had some nice stones in stock!
So I grabbed 13 lbs of it for 2.99/lb and away we went.
There are two deeeep cracks in this main rock that go about 6-7 inches back and are half an inch tall the entire way.
Gotta get some shrimp for this tank so I can not see them for weeks on end lmao.
Staurogyne Repens, Bacopa Colorata, Limno Rugosa, Blyxa Japonica
Anyway, probably no Co2 for a bit.
We shall see how the plants do - if nothing works we can go to co2 - I want to make it more Iwagumi style since thats where my roots are - I've been working on this dutch 33 gal for years and its still trash but I refuse to give up.
So long term, the stem plants may come out - maybe just a nice red bunch towards the center and some Blyxa Japonica on the sides and a nice carpet up front.
