Day 11
Did a 50%water change last night. Added 7ghosr shrimp and 4 guppy's. They love the tank. Current levels are
Amonia .25ppm
Nitrite .15ppm
Nitrate 10ppm

I do have a concern about co2 dissolving well in enough in the tank. My Blyxa isn't doing so hot. could use some help from you guys and gals on what to fix.

Hi,
Personally, I would completely remove this driftwood or cut it in half.
I would also try to hide the heater (now is the focal point) and remove this stone, looks like skull .

Thank you for the input. I will definitely move the heater I have bee. Meaning to do itbiust haven't I did move my outflow to opposite side to help diffuser co2 better. Boy did that help. As s for the rock that's something my girl wanted. So it's got to stay. I plan on having the plants grow thru the holes. Maybe I will get some moss to attach to it and make it look better. As for now I tested my water again and I have increased ppm.
Amonia .25ppm
Nitrite .25ppm
Nitrate 20ppm
At least the cycle is going. I am going to do a 25% water change today to help lower the numbers. As for the Blyxa I did some research and it looks like they melt when you move them and water parameters are different.

Long time to post on my journal. Just a small update. It's been little over a year since I started. I have also been fighting algae. The green fuzz or hair algae that grows on the roots of the stems in the water column. And BBA that grows on the substrate. Also a battle with green water. Luckily I bought a green machine. I changed my dosing up a bit as well.
Macros:
NO3 5ppm
PO4 1ppm
K 8 ppm
Micros:
Fe .1ppm
Mn .0225ppm
B .15ppm
Zn .020ppm
Cu .00125ppm
Mo .00075ppm
No .00025ppm
I have seen so good growth with this dosing.

I am also awaiting a new finnex planted + crv 30" to either replace or supplement the beamswork that I have now. Will post updates once I receive it.
As always any advice is welcomed.

Just a photo how the tank is looking today. I have been increasing co2 more and more. Hopefully it will help with the bba.

Thank you. I just received a ton of plants. Been busy for a few hours planting them. Had so many I put some in my son's 10 gallon.

With increasing co2 I have noticed better growth and less algae. Fish are doing great at new level of co2. Here some pics after a small trimming and some replanting.
pH 6.0
Kh 3
Gh 6
Custom micro does listed above
NO3 5 ppm
PO4 1ppm
K 7 ppm
