Cool UbbeDall's 45p

Recently rescaped this, so it's still growing in. I had it set up with a similar scape but found out I had the wood to far into the corner so I didn't have any room for stem plants in the back. Also had monte carlo carpeting the entire bottom, but wanted to try the sand-bottom look.

There's a bit of random/excess java fern and anubias floating around on the left hand side - feel bad about just tossing it, but it's kind of a placeholder while the stems grow out in the back left corner.

Equipment:
Ada 45p, 10 gallon tank
Eheim 2215
Kessil 160we
Inline diffuser from NilocG (just got this, it works sooo much better than the in-tank one I had previously)

Fish:
21 German blue ram
10 Green neon tetra
4 Amano shrimp
4 Otocinclus

Plants:
Java fern
Anubias
Buce, Brownie Brown
Buce, Black Pearl
Rotala Rotundifolia
Monte Carlo
Java moss (desperately trying to get rid of)
Water lettuce (clear out a handful twice a week)

Time for a little update. Cleared out the left hand side, looks a bit bare right now. Been replanting the stems to get a thicker look, didn't have that many stems to start out with.

Also added some tissue culture hygrophila pinnatifida, just wedged in in between some of the branches, hopefully it'll attach. It's still adapting a bit but the new leaves are looking nice. Also noticed a bit of BBA recently, but as you can see the amanos are working on it.

Monte carlo seems to be creeping along nicely, although there's been a tiny bit of melt, not exactly sure why.

Lastly, my red root floaters look like the new leaves are going to be reddish but they eventually all turn green - just not enough light?

I've been getting some decent growth on my rotala, seems like a couple centimeters pr day almost, but the new growth looks quite yellow. Does that mean I'm having iron deficiencies?

I'm dosing Thrive+ and GH booster.

Tank has been getting some natural sunlight early in the morning, causing some algae on the front glass - but also bringing out some amazing colors in my GBR.
