6.3g Bookshelf Nano
Hello everyone! I decided to start a journal for my first high tech tank. After many low tech tanks and being constantly disappointed in what I have created, I finally took the step into the high tech world. I've been lurking around the forum for awhile now asking a lot of questions (as many of you have probably seen lol).
The aquarium is filled and CO2 is set up and running. I hope to keep documentation on my tank here and I'd love to hear what many of you have to say, I'm definitely open to advice! So, I guess ill get right into it. The specs are:
6.3g Mr.Aqua bookshelf tank (24” x 6.7" x 9.4")
Aquatek Mini CO2 Regulator
Since I've once again been slacking and failed to post this sooner... here are the first 2 days and their updates!
Day 1 (19/08/18)
After spending over $100 on plants, I spent the next few hours planting them. The following is a list of the flora I chose:
Alternanthera Reineckii ‘Mini’
Hydrocotyle sp japan
Golden Lysimachia nummularia
Day 2 (20/08/18)
I set up my Aquatek Mini CO2 Regulator. Everything went smoothy and I am hopeful to see the change in my plants. I'm still playing around with the knob and the amount of CO2 I'm injecting, but my drop checker is on its way with an estimated delivery of August 24th-September 20th (looks like I will be out of luck for awhile...but thats what I get for free shipping)!
Other than that, I am very happy with the system and the diffuser I am using.
