F's tank collection and projects

I have been in the hobby for a few years now, but only recently decide to try my hand at e(im)mersed growth. Above is an evolving project that is now in its 6'th week.
is the tanks evolution over the last few weeks. Updates are typically poster here https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...ZD7SWd1vQbckxa

At the moment everything seems to be adapting to the new environment, the biggest casualty seem to be fissidens fontanus that is not doing well at all.

Another one of my tanks that is slowly evolving is Lucky 13 ..

Took some shots of it as it is at the moment ...
https://youtu.be/ZCDZtKmeIPA might want to do a water change if we get some nice sun today.

Just cleared a duckweed blanket - so the fish a all topside for some light.

Thanks guys, Long story short - water's edge was actually a convict tank - was on holiday in June when I got back the other 1/4 said something smells fishy in the fishroom ( she looks after the tanks when I am not around) - well I had a tank crash .. old convict died .. others feasted on the corpse a few power outages maybe even a bit of overfeeding - so ended up removing +-2.5kg of convicts form the tank. Funny thing was about 10 small convicts survived so water's edge was build around them.

The convicts are breeding again - as they do. These are actually decedents of my original pair - as featured in my avatar - but for some reason mostly the albinos have survived this last round.

Also started play with some CO2 again ... used to run it in some tanks but the growth was just way too much. Now after a long time not running any carbon source I was inspired to think about using a bell again.

I am 100% I could pump more CO2 into the system, for now that is not the goal just want to give everything a slight bump.

This was water's edge on Friday night

- not doing a video now .. had some movement ... but all in all still positive about this setup.

Even the bolbitis does not look like it is out of place or needing to adapt to the new environment.

Got a bit of algae showing up to the party, no clue how to control it going forward.

CO2 bell (bottle top right) is adding just enough to spark new growth on the buce carpet.

Thanks Andrew ... yeah keeps me going ;-) lucky it is all low low maintenance.

First 50% water change, winter is almost over .. a few nice warm days and tap water just right for a WC.

Pulled some plants, left most of the algae ;-)

TDS down form 395 to 265 .. needs another BIG WC to get into the zone that I like for my low tech tank.

8 weeks into the planting of this one, things are starting to transform ... need to find the fertz balance soon I suspect, some of the leaves look a bit pale.
