little frog dome

Hello everyone! I've been lurking for awhile but this is my first post. I'm starting a low tech African Dwarf Frog bowl.

I received this terrarium as a gift with succulents in it (that I had to transplant, of course) and I really like the shape of it. It's quite small. I've put ADA Aquasoil in it and the light is the 9.99 JANSJÖ work lamp from Ikea.

I did the hardscape today. Nothing fancy, just two Seiryu stones. I wanted a large central arrangement to accentuate the shape of the container.

For plants I'm going with cryptocoryne parva and cryptocoryne axelrodi. I wanted plants that would creep a little bit but would do alright in low light. I'll be dosing Flourish Excel once everything gets established. Planning on having two frogs, but that's a long way off.

Planted the crypt axelrodi. This is my first time with tissue culture plants, and separating the plantlets was certainly exciting. Parva is next!

Planted the parva. It's actually been a few days since this photo and everything is doing well. I've started daily doses of Excel and a 8-1, 5-9 photo period.

Excited for this to be all filled in, ten years from now :P

Axelrodi is growing in nicely. Parva is growing too but obviously less dramatic. Only lost two or three leaves to melt! Pleased.

Question: how long should I wait before putting frogs in? Don't want them to uproot everything.
