60 gallon cube flood test and ideas

Hey everyone my LFS had a good deal on a 60 gallon rimless cube and I have had a large piece of driftwood hanging out in the garage for years waiting on a tank. I am flood testing the tank right now and making sure the drift wood seems to fit. I am going with a fluval fresh and plant led 3.0, fluval substrate, and seachem excel. I may look into co2 at a later date. let me know what sorts of plants and livestock you guys think I should research for this one. Thanks!

I keep a pair of angels + rasbora heteromorpha + panda cories in my 24" cube.

Plant wise, a lot of vals, Java fern, Brazilian pennywort, giant hairgrass, stargrass, Anubias, et al.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate the help! I have been considering getting some buce plants, and the s. repens for the foreground would be fantastic! Thank you again!

Ok So after doing a bit of research I think I am going to go with Black Diamond Blasting Sand medium. Also I was going to do DIY osmocote plus gel root tabs. I purchased some Staurogyne Repens from pet smart, it looks healthy and its in a plastic bag with gel. I wasn't planning on planting until this weekend will it be ok until then? Thanks all!

substrate washed and added to the tank, half of my plants should be here tomorrow. had to wash and put it in today because the weather is supposed to be really bad tomorrow. I guess I need to start thinking about the fish stocking.

Nice ! I do feel like you should add another rock at the bottom left near the base of the wood to kind of balance it out cause all the rocks are on the right side

First Day

Plant stocking so far includes:
Small Amazon Sword ◊ 1
Alternanthera Reineckii "Variegated"
Red Tiger Lotus- ◊ 1 (Bulb, was supposed to be a plant I thought but oh well)
Bacopa monnieri aka Moneywort
Vallisneria "Jungle Val"
S. Repens.(those guys have already straightened up overnight)
Cabomba caroliniana
water sprite(floating)
mossball

I am going to trim some java moss from my 20 gallon and attach it to the wood.. I think. that stuff grows so fast.
buce should be in on monday

lighting fluval fresh and plant 3.0(I hope its enough this a big deep tank)
substrate Blackdiamond Blasting Sand
Osmocote+ diy root tabs dosed sparsely

Questions? Do I need a second light on this bad boy to keep up with light demands? when should I start dosing the water column?
