Driftwood, Planting & Trimming to rid BBA

I jumped in a few days ago with an introduction and posted a photo of my tank. After battling BBA for the past 6 mos, I was inspired to trade out driftwood pieces, pull out the carpet and get more aggressive in treatment.
Sprayed hydrogen peroxide on substrate and lightly affected plants.
Did a 3 min soak of highly affected java fern in a solution of 5 percent bleach.
Removed manzanita and will treat that for future use.
Left the Crypyts alone, and planted a few new species.
Starting this journal to show my grow out and hopefully journal ridding of BBA.
Info on equipment and planting’s:

I had a terrible breakout of BBA a couple of months ago. At that time, my tank was high tech - intense lighting, heavy CO2 injection using reactors in my two returns lines from my sump. Am using a reef tank like setup with a sump. I had ample plant growth up until the BBA break out. Today, a month later, it is all gone. I did three things in addition to doing 50% water changes with tap water every week. 1) reduced light period from 8 hours to 4 hours. 2) stopped CO2. 3) stopped all liquid dosing except for Florish Excel, which I increased. This remedy ended the BBA, but allowed plants to continue growing.
