Marina 5gal rimless tank journal-- hopefully!!!

Tank: Marina 5Gal Rimless
Filter: Eheim 2213
CO2: 5lb tank, Milwaukee CO2 Regulator, distributed by canister filter thru inline Diffuser Dispenser.
DIY Lighting 2x 8W t5 6500K+8000K.Fixtures are from Wal-Mart $9 each. Fan is on top to kick out heat from the lights.
Substrate: ADA Amazonia II
Flora: HC-Iíd like to try submersed carpeting.
Blucha Japonika, Didiplis Diandra, Hemianthus Micranthemoides-If Iím not mistaken.
Fauna: Plans is: One Betta and one Killifish family- if I can lower temperature enough.

I think you have potential with that rock, but I think the placement is a bit out. Please dont take offense. Imagine that the rocks are old men having a chat some are in aggreement and one is in rejection.
Like your choice of plants tho.

are those lights gonna be bright enough? I have a couple and they seem dim, but if they are bright enough they are goin on another tank!

I bought 6700K and 8000K bulbs separate. Those one which comes with the fixtures are 4100K.
Meter show 85-105 Lux near to substrate almost the same like my 2x24W T5HO fixture over 15gal long tank. We’ll see how HC will grow.
