Thanks, but I was just testing my ability to direct link photos from photobucket, and now I can't delete this posted thread - How do I do that?

Sorry folks - I've been trying to do just what dirtyhermit said to do - for the past hour !
I guess I'm a real dummy when it comes to posting direct link IMG pics from photobucket - I don't know how in the h... I got the first pic up. I just cant seem to duplicate what I did with that first one, to get some more pics up on this post.
All I'm trying to do is make it easy for you folks to view my new addtions - 4 new flamingos that I got in exchange yesterday for 4 Royal Ruby Reds that I traded in.

All you need to do is copy the fourth link (IMG code) in Photobucket and just directly paste it to the line you want the picture on.

Thanks folks, I'll keep trying.

northey87: How do I "paste" it on ? Do I need to precisely re-copy every letter of the IMG link unto my open thread/post ? (When I'm in photobucket, I click on IMG link & it says "copied'.) (including, or excluding .jpg ?)
Now, what happens next - what do I do when I get back to my planted tank post ?

yes, after it says 'copied' just go to your thread and hit ctrl V (paste). This will paste the entire code and you should see your pic when you click on preview

Thanks tharsis
I did manage to get a few pics up, but many times I obviously did something wrong, as I got a multitude of the same pics, several times, & had to do a lot of deleting.

When I get back to my thread, do I depress Ctrl & V, separately, to paste ? Does that do it ?
Not sure what I did each time, but it's when I depressed Ctrl & V at the same time, that I got multiple pics.

Looks great! You have some beautiful discus.

The two pictures that didn't show up near the end of the first post aren't working because there is no closing bracket (]) after the [/IMG
Insert one on the end of each and you should be good to go.

Thanks AzFishKid
That didn't work out quite right, but your comments made me pause & think carefully about what I was doing - and voila - I was able to put up a few more pics without trouble - You know, I think I might just have it !

Sorry, I got busy and had to leave my computer. What happened is you most likely held down ctrl v too long. You can hold down ctrl and tap "V" once and it will paste the link once. If you hold down both it will just continue to paste the same link over and over agian till you release the keys.

What maybe easier for you is once the link is copied on your photobucket page is go to where you want the picture to be in your message and "right click" your mouse. And in that pop up menu should be the comand "paste", click on that and the link will be pasted to you message. Hope this helps.
