my 60 gallon dutch

hi guys. here is my tank with pics taken today:

60 gallon
6x65 watt pc
80 degrees F
Rena XP2 and Rena XP3
Eco Complete/Seachem Flourite Black
5lb Pressurized co2 set up with steady stream of bubbles.
pH: 6.5

Fish:
30 Cardinals
8 Red Phantoms
3 Electric Blue Rams
5 German Blue Rams
8 Oto's
2 Bolivian Rams
7 Espei Rasboras
3 Amano Shrimp
4 Nerite Snails
3 Assasin Snails
3 Black Mollies (for Algae control)

Plants:
Limnophila Aromatica
Ludwigia Ovalis
Ludwigia Arcuata
Ludwigia Glandulosa
Heteranthera Zosterifolia
Rotala Colorata
Rotala "green"
Rotala Macranda Red
Ammania Gracillis
Mayaca Fluviatilis
Rotala Wallichi
Cryptocoryne Parva
Blyxa Japonica
Nesea Pedicielata

Ferts:
Seachem Comprehensive
Seachem Pottasium
pFertz Micro
ADA ECA Iron
Seachem Phosphorus
Seachem Root tabs

Please comment on my set up and give me harsh honest feedback if necessary. I upped my light since i was sick of the bottom of my aromatica dying off. i know this may lead to algae so i'm watchin my tank closely to make sure i stay ahead of any problems. I've upped my ferts and co2 accordingly.

I know my bio-load is a bit high. I'm taking out all my phantoms next time i rescape. I do 30% water changes with 100% RO every single week.

My Rotala Macranda has been struggling a bit on the bottoms. I think it may be something with my fertz but i haven't figured it out. Please help. The bottoms just look crappy.

My Wallachi has always been difficult for me. I never mastered this one and i find it frustrating to keep it as bushy and pink as when i buy it. Maybe i need more iron. Please advise.

thanks Rick,

i said the same about your tanks/fish when i used to be on simplydiscus. i remember admiring your tank and all the colorful discus that were in perfect condition.

i never was able to grow them out, keep them at peace with one another, and keep the weaker ones from hiding, then folding up, then darkening and getting sick.

suffice it to say, i gave up and went full on into planted tanks. hopefully one day, i'll have an awesome discus tank like yours.

thanks man! unfortunately that tank (in my sig) is in the process of being fully torn down. I only have 3 of them left now. I'm making the full plunge into planted myself. Check out my journal in my sig as well

Intense, full display there.
Looks like it is well taken care of.
As for plant success it can vary widely and short of using adjusted ro water there is know way to tell what will grow best in your water.
On the other hand, Iron is king with most stem plants I have.
Failure to dose it will result in almost no growth, no mater what the c02, n,p,k levels are.
Anyway nice setup
