Lol, okkkkkkkkkkkkkk more pics and a video...

It looks pretty good I think for 1 week after planting... Glosso is already forming new growth. I expect runners by the end of Thanksgiving week.

I need some rotala colorata if anyone wants to donate...or sell hehe

just click the last pic for video. Stand is indeed a DIY and I'm pretty proud if I say so myself. Second one I built, so the next will be even better. !

How long does it usually take for ammonia to be out of the water column, I've done 5 water changes and and it showed safe levels on the test i did. also getting a little brownish hairlike algae. The algae comes off easily by hand and is almost slimy. looks like brown fluff... I'm thinking once i get my ottos in there they'll get most of the brown stuff, a little diatoms too...

few pics from Thanksgiving day by my cousin with a better camera:

Her camera is MUCH nicer than mine. You can see some new growth in the glosso. Now, runners EVERYWHERE!

Happy Thanksgiving all!!! Hope you all had great times with family and loved ones!

Great setup Rountreesj. Very, very clean, and the stand and hardscape are amazing. Again, great job!

guess what i got folks?..........................planeria. started freaking out at first.... try some water changes first, then some chlorine if that doesn't help, then dog worms treatment if all else fails.

planeria mostly gone. dunno, just died i suppose...

my sp green is dying back a bit, but it'll come back round in a few weeks.

Got a rhinox 5000, and broke it minutes after owning it...so i got a rhinox 2000 instead, because the 5000 is huge!!!

the algae is getting better as the plants grow in.

Glosso has many many runners. Pics after school lets out.

3 tests this week and finals next week. Dear GOd!!!!!!!!!!!

That is a beautiful tank! I'm jealous How difficult is the glosso? I got some hitch hiker glosso in my low tech 50 gallon and I'm really surprised they're not dead yet. On the contrary they still look healthy and green.

I also had planeria a couple of times. Yuck. But they eventually died off after water changes.
