Love the picture of the cardinal looking at the camera. I think it'll look good once it grows in more. Are you leaving the substrate clean in the front or are you hoping to have the whole front carpeted as well?

Without Algae, death of mankind would be inevitable.

Thanks guy's the DHG is already taking off nicely!
All the clumps have thrown 5 or more runners.
So yeah hoping the strate will be a carpet in a couple (4 to 5) months.

This is my 1st high light tank so I am hoping I can keep it balanced.

Well the GHG is kicking my tail but I think I now have it under control.
I lucked into hitting the lfs, right as they where pulling some sweet jungle vals, out of their 500 gallon planted tank with blooms and all.
Which work out perfect to replace the GHG losses.
I'll snap some pics this after noon.

Very nice!

Yeah the JD's went back to the store they where pulling my rotala nightly.

Here are some pics from today.

I also added two 100 watt Coil bulbs 6k and a 5k, along with using the old alum reflector out of a 4' single T-10 fixture to make a more efficient fixture for the 250 watt halide.

Here is a tank shot with just the two CF bulbs.....

Here a couple of the tank with the halide running..........

All I plan on doing a this point is adding either 30 more Cardinals or Blood Fins in a couple weeks.
I am stoked to see how this thing grows in!!!!!!
