Having been on the forum for a while, and learning alot with the old 29gal I had, I thought I would post the upgraded tank!
Started the 29 with a finnex 24/7 on max, diy co2, pps ferts, was a good learning tank!, so I decided to upgrade to a bigger tank with more floor space!
Here are the specs
45gal bowfront fluval aquarium
Chihiros a series 36in on 80% 8 hours
planted+24/7 on 24/7 mode
Co2 art regulator, 15lb tank on 1 hour before lights on, off 1 hour before lights out, drop checker goes pale green, almost yellow ph 7.6 outa tap, 6.5 at lights out
Have gone to EI for ferts,
50% wc/ week, with half teaspoon equilibrium
nitrates I try to keep at 20 or so
phosphate around 2ppm
use csm-b mix at 12g/1ltr water with a bit of extra Iron
Have flourite black sand as bottom layer, tropica soil and capped with black beauty blasting sand
There is bloodfin tetras, cardinal tetras, harlaquin rasboras, cories and a bristlenose pleco

Crypt wendti, balanese
Anubius coffifolia, nana
Buce brownine helena
HC cuba ( trying a tiny bit out)
Monte carlo ( tying a tiny bit out)
Sort of a jungle right now getting things to grow good before I clean up the scape some, so here are some pics! any tips welcome!
