5 empty tanks - inspire me!!

I ned your inspiration to have fun with 5 nano-aquariums!

Now that we moved in to the new house I got my own room in the basement to use as my own "rest-room" :-) For the moment it is the home of my two parrots and 2 terrariums. And soon to come a LOT of plants and 1 (ONE) recliner. Just for me! But also 5 empty aquariums! Yeeiii!

(I also have a 260 lit (69 g) planted hightech tank in the living room, started about 2 weeks ago)

The empty tanks are:
1 st Cocoon 31,5 lit. (8 g) 40x26 cm (h: 30cm)
2 st Cocoon 15,5 lit. (4 g) 31x19 cm (h: 26 cm)
1 st 20 lit. (5 g) 27x27 cm (h: 27cm)
1 st Aquael 19 lit. (5g) 25x25 cm (h: 30cm)

(I also have two mini-tanks, 1,5 g to use if you have any tips)

But before I go to e-bay and go all crazy buying leds, filters, heaters and so on - i need to know WHAT to do with them. Maybee I dont need all the stuff depending on what I use them for. (The room is about 18 degrees celsius - 64 degrees farenheit so maybee I need heaters regardless of what I do?)

So hit me with all the fun ideas you have! My thought is to have 5 different setups.

So what do you think? Blackwater? Hightech? Lowtech? Plants? Fish? Shrimps? Snails? Growing Blackworms? Maggots?

HIT ME! I wanna start playing around noooooow!

And while you think - I have som tank-cleaning to do....

Heres a pic of my livingroom-tank and of the 5 empty tanks in the basement. I just placed them to take the picture - the two in front have their own bench beside the others)

How about different varieties of shrimp and moss scapes in each tank.

110g Tropical Community & Sakura Shrimp
55g BN Breeding Grounds, Peacock Gudgeons, Panda, Pygmies, & Smudge Spot Cories, Rili Shrimp
10g RCS and show guppies

Yep, one or two of the tanks will be mosses and shrimps.

One of them will be saltwater. (the bottom right tank) It was salt a few years ago so it will be salt again.

One of them will be blackwater, with... licorice gourami maybee?

Thinking about Indostomus Crocodilus in one of them.

Killies in one of them maybee.

But I also want to "breed" my own fishfood. Dont know what to start with, blackworms? maggots?

Yep, my thoughts exactly. 5 shrimp tanks with various different mosses, bucephalandra, and the like.

Good excuse to pickup a RO/DI system too (if you don't have one already).
