Post The One That Never Gets Away (2.5g Journal)

As long as I have tried to get out of the hobby there always seems to be a relapse with this little 2.5g, It's just so easy and simple to setup I almost get the urge to buy 3 more. I've always had a thing for nano tanks and I'm constantly changing this one up. However, this time I'm taking it the low-tech route.

So here we are...

Day 1: Tank finished cycling and added some SR along with Crypt Undulata and Wedtii. Also added a Betta and a pair of guppies (the GF's) temporarily.

Day 14: Two weeks later and I'm very surprised at the growth rate. The Betta has unplanted one stem of SR otherwise all looks good. (Guppies have been removed)

The tank is running with a simple small HOB and an aluminum dome fixture with a 15W CFL. PWC's every 8-10 days and 3-4 root tabs placed with the SR and Crypts.

Let me know what you think!

I'm not too happy with the placements of the cryps, I think the wendtii and undulate would be more pleasing if they were swapped places. I feel as if there's too much green in one place. What are anyone's thoughts?

Should I try to get some red/purple in the tank, if so what would you guys recommend for this setup?
doug105! and doug105! like this.
