Building a new...

Well its been 5 years or so since I've had my last aquarium and I've been checking them out for a long time and haven't seen anything that has really grabbed my attention to space ratio. That changed this week as we were browsing the pet store and came across the Marineland 93g Cube and the LFS had a great selection of wood to pick through. We popped the top off and went to work arranging some wood. Today I spent the day bringing the tank home, painting the back and cut and shaped the slate attached to the wood to get the fit I was after.

Tank: Marineland 93g Cube with Marineland Stand
Filtration: 2- Fluval FX4
Heater: Undecided
Lighting: Aquaticlife FX80 Halo Deluxe on 30" mounting arm
Substrate: Undecided
Plants: Somewhere between Indonesian Biotope or West African Biotope
Fish: Same as above

This tank is my first cube and will be viewable from multiple rooms and also when you come through the front door. Sorry about the sideways photos I'm uploading from mobile.

Looks exciting! So cool to have a tank viewable like that. Interesting for plumbing and electrics too! What are you thinking of stocking it with?

Redid the Anubias as they were getting bumped around. Each one is now tied to a black lava rock so it can't be uprooted and easily moved. Just waiting on my Anubias Hastafolia and a couple more Nangi so I can finish the scape out then to sit back and relax.
