My very first tank! (45f)

Heyy ! Names Audrey and I'm just starting up my first tank.

Got really into this particular tank since my trip to San Francisco and went to the Afa store with my boyfriend when he purchased his new 120p and I kept looking at their 45f and thought I'd try it out with the help of the bf

Still wondering what to really do.. trying to decide if i want some shrimp or some dwarf puffers.
And just started setting it up today and going to fill it up tomorrow and finally put my new plants in !

That looks really nice allready Thats a great piece of wood you got there. Personally if it were me i would go with some CRS. But with whatever you use it will look great.

Thanks guys!

So the HC arrived today and i just finished setting everything up. Since the cabinet im using is small i purchased a small co2 set up. I ended up buying a co2 regulator with solenoid for a paintball with the cylinder.

Quick question, will it be ok if the regulator is faced up?
Here's a picture to show what im talking about.

ryndisher, i bought the regulator from my LFS so i dont know if its the same one. I doubt it though because they're different colors. But so far im liking this one, i have about a little less then a bubble per second at the moment.

That tank is the bee's knees. If I had all the money in the world, that would be the first one I would buy. I love the dimensions of those things. Looks like a good start.

Can't wait to see where this goes... Seems as though you have went all out and bought some of the best equipment possible.

In the future you should consider a canister filter rather than dual HOB. Will simplify all kinds of things for you.

You should consider the dry start method for growing HC. Search around here for info on it.
