Hi everyone!

As mentioned in the topic this is my first experience with planted tanks. I used to take care of bettas but upon seeing a few ADA tanks at our local LFS I decided to give it a go. I avoided ADA products because of the exorbitant prices locally. For reference an ADA 60p retails for about 326 usd but I was able to get 2 bags of Amazonia V1 for 57 usd so go figure.

Just a quick run down of my equipment:

Up Aqua Ultra White Glass 60x30x36 cm tank
Up Aqua Pro Led Z 60cm LED lights
Up Aqua External 230 canister filter
Aqua World Lily Pipes
Up Aqua Timer System
ADA Amazonia V1
API C02 booster liquid C02
Seiryu Stones
HC Cuba
DIY stand

12/22/16 - Hardscape setup, will probably fine tune if needed. Please don't mind the temporary lights.

As such any criticism is more than welcome and please forgive my English since it is not my native language. Cheers!

Thanks! Took a good look at it this morning and will probably stick with the current hardscape and go on to planting.

Nah chill it could use some tinkering. IMO I would hit up the aquascaping section and ask what people think. It's what you like but honestly it just looks kind of off

Done and posted. I honestly think I have ugly stones, not to mention I ruined 2 of them by dunking them in muriatic and getting smooth, glossy stones after.

Update!

Closed the open space in front and moved the stones closer to each other. Also got my Up Aqua LEDs which look awesome despite the low price tag. I just hope it's enough to grow HCs.
