29 gallon hex "Bonsai" tank

I recently started my first planted/ aquascape project with a 29 gallon hex tank and thought I would share my progress so far.
I decided to go with this concept after my brother found the tree in a big driftwood pile on the Kalama river near my home. The rocks that make up the island were also found on the Kalama river.
For substrate I used some Eco Complete with a power sand base.
I used water from another tank to get the cycle going and added filter media from the other tank to the Fluval canister filter I used for this project.
For lighting I used two Fluval Aura lights that I mounted together and then suspended from the ceiling.
I made a DIY co2 reactor and then replaced filter intake and return with more aesthetically pleasing glass.
After planting my carpet, I used the sponge method to create the tree foliage using Christmas Tree Moss.
I also added a diffused led spotlight behind the tank to highlight the tree. In photos, it comes out as a very bright non-diffused light but to the naked eye, it is very soft and well diffused.
Currently I have five Amano shrimp, two Cherry shrimp, two blue shrimp and two black shrimp. There are also three Otto cats and fifteen Neon Tetras.
Anything I should be doing differently?

Bump: I forgot to mention that I have a few mystery snails, a few dwarf ramshorn snails and three assassin snails. I am also dosing with Flourish products.

Well done! I don't think I have personally seen a scape take advantage of a hex tank so nicely, love the little 'root' branches and the choice of rock.
