Started this one back in July. Just been chillin' really. Cycled and building up the biofilm. Got a few hitchhiker snails hanging out...that's about it right now. I feed it some ammonia once or twice a week to keep the biofilter happy, water changes about once every two weeks since there's nothing in there adding to the bioload or using up the minerals.
It's a Mr. Aqua 12" cube, about 7.5 gallons of awesome. As you can see...not much going on. Keeping it simple, plan to fill it with shrimp. Maybe some fish. Probably not. But maybe. If I decide on fish...I might tear this one down and transfer it all over to a larger 11 gallon Mr. Aqua tank that I have.
Anyways...this is the tank as it sits today.....

Plans are shrimp. Neos. Blue or red. Whatever I find for the best deal when I'm ready to order. Looking at starting with a high-end starter group and going from there. I've been waiting a bit until the weather breaks. I'm too worried to have shrimp shipped when the temps are hitting low to mid 90's so once they start to drop to more reasonable numbers...I'll be figuring out what and from where.
