Red face Jabolko's 15g high tech

Hi,

i had wet shoulders few years ago but then cyano appered, little less time and yea.. :/ So now is time to start again

Equipment:
Tank: 15G (cca 60L)
Lightning: 2x24W T5 DIMM in custom cover
CO2: PH controller / 1KG CO2
Filter: still choosing

I was and am still little green when it comes to planted tank so i will be really happy if you can help me with some answers and advices My last tank:

Tomorrow will buy sand and start with hardscape layout but in mean time i have some questions:
1. I was using EI or PPS (dont remember) method for dosing ferts. What do you prefer?
2. Do you prefer cycling with plants or without? I started my tank two times with plants. Its without better?
3. I want to have carpet plant's like HC. Would be TetraPlant Complete Substrate 2.8 kg enough for 60x31,5cm (cca. 23.5inch x 12.5 inch). How much sand do you prefer?

Sry for basic questions, i havent been in hobby for years
Tnx for all your help.

I like the hardscape...it's hard to tell from the pic, but did you create a slope from the front to the back?

If you have two tubes you could combine one with plant spectrum with maybe a reddish one that makes the fish pop.

Cape Town, South Africa.

Hi. I'm back.

Lights: 6h
Ferts: Flourish, Nitrogen, Phosp..

Spoted some algae on front glass (GDA or Green). Will wait a little.

I am thinking about some frozen food for my Boraras Urophthalmoides. Maybe some Aretmia. Does anyone have any experience with this?
