75 Gallon Journal

It occurred to me that I should have started a tank journal some time ago after looking at all the changes this tank has gone through in a year.

lights - 2 finnex 24/7 planted plus
Filters - 2 SunSun canister filters
Co2 on PH controller
Hydor inline heater
Jebao DP4 auto dosing pump
Substrate is Black Diamond Sand/ root tabs
PPS Pro dosing.

This has evolved into a Rainbowfish and Cardinal tank for the most part.

Here is a timeline of photos to catch up this journal.

And this brings us to today. I'd have an easier time finishing the DHG carpet if the rainbows would quit plucking out the grass!

I think it's going to turn out better since you removed those rocks and planted more DHG.

Just a noob

That is a huge sword! I had some in my 75g and they were just massive plants. Beautiful, but they just get so large. I like the tank a lot. Especially the crypt jungle over on the right hand side.

Thanks, that sword is massive, but I really like it in that spot. The fish are really active around it, and it creates a lot of spots for them to hang out. I started with a 12 gallon Fluval Edge I received as a gift. I stumbled across this site while setting that up...and its turned into this. I keep thinking about cleaning up the crypt s on the right, but I also like the jungle look on that side of the tank.
