Rubberman's "I should be working" tanks

Well just thought I should put up a thread for the tanks I keep at my shop. Really started just to have a place to put trims, then a few shrimp, couple fish... you know the rest. lol

Here's a 3g that I'm starting. Right now I'm lighting it with a desk lamp. I've got a background picked out. I just need to print it out in color and laminate it.

Not really sure what I'll keep in it yet. But once it grows in I'll see if I can sneak it home. lol

In a 20g I've got a few fish I got from Mark at RMC a couple three weeks ago.

Same tank... a few shrimp

Same 20g. These guy's were all meant to go home to the 90g. I had brought some tank water from home for the acclimation. Put them in a bowl floating in the tank with a few stems so they could feel comfortable. Took several hours to acclimate them then put a lid on the bowl for transport. When I got them home I just poured the bowl into the tank.

Couple days later I start seeing these at the shop... 4 had jumped the bowl and into the shop tank. lol Netted one of the males and took it home. So know the 20g here has one male and two females. Aggressive eaters but otherwise very shy. At least the male hangs out in the same place at the front of the tank.

Poecilocharax weitzmani also from RMC

Here's one of the 10g. It started with RCS but that kinda got boring. Added these from RMC also. Not sure what I'll do with them long term. They are a sight to see if you sit really, really still. I have a feeling when fish see the camera lens they thinks it's a great big fish eye coming at them. lol

lol

Just wait until I get the full tank shots sized and uploaded. You'll either fall off your chair laughing or turn away in disgust. lol

l say you try breeding the Boraras brigittae and then give me the offspring . l heard they're not that hard. Over here at my lfs they go for like 5-10$ a pop l find it kinda funny considering their size, guess that rules out the size doesn't matter line. l love how you brought out their color, they don't even look half as good as yours over here but l guess it's because the lfs set-up isn't as detailed as a personal home aquarium where you put forth more effort.

They're now joined by a good size group of B. micros. They're in a 20g in the same room but it's hard to get a good shot since the tank is so close to the wall. I'm hoping they'll get happy soon.

I like that one too. Had to move the heater to the end of the tank after seeing these pictures. But I'm the only one that ever sees these tanks since they're in a back room at my shop. lol
