Gammarus/scuds, if they get large enough, can harm and eat shrimp - especially right after a molt or if they're juveniles with softer shells.

I've also had them catch Endler fry and eat them.

If you don't have any young fish or shrimp to worry about, they shouldn't be much of a concern.
